Registration is OPEN NOW for the new FREEHWB Summer Development League — Aurora’s fast-paced community ball hockey experience built for skill development, competition, and culture.
Players ages 11–14 will receive FREE HOCKEY STICKS and be placed onto teams for weekly training, competitive scrimmages, standings, and playoff-style championship play at Central Community Center beginning July 2026.

Registration is coming soon for the HWB Scholastic Ball Hockey League, Aurora’s bold new citywide youth hockey movement built for competition, school pride, and community culture.
Launching Summer 2027, the league will feature elementary, middle school, and high school divisions, giving young athletes the opportunity to represent their schools through weekly games, standings, rivalries, and championship play as part of Colorado’s first organized scholastic ball hockey league experience. As the official pathway into the league, Hockey Without Boundaries is actively introducing first-time players to the sport through FREE HWB Development League Summer and Fall programs in partnership with Aurora Parks and Recreation and We Are Aurora Youth, helping kids build confidence, skills, and a love for the game before entering league competition.

The TOP CHEEZ OPEN RINK Youth Showcase celebrates the next generation of ball hockey players by providing a stage where young athletes can showcase their skill, creativity, and passion for the game. It is where dedication meets opportunity, giving players the chance to compete, grow, and be recognized in front of family, friends, and the community.
The OPEN RINK Youth Showcase headlines a new era of youth ball hockey in Colorado beginning in 2027. Fast-paced 5-on-5 outdoor competition driven by skill development, sportsmanship, and community. This is more than a tournament. It is a platform for young athletes to build confidence, create lifelong memories, and become part of a movement that is making hockey more accessible for everyone.
