Help Us Give Every Kid a Chance to Play

Your donation directly powers grassroots ball hockey programs across Aurora. Every contribution helps us remove financial barriers, provide equipment, and create safe, structured programs for kids who want to learn and play. We believe every child deserves a stick, a ball, and a place to belong.

Your contribution helps provide equipment and access to youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play. All funds are used solely for program support.

Priority Funding Needs

Sticks and Balls for Youth
This is our highest-priority need.
A regulation stick costs $25, and youth ball sets cost $5. Our Learn to Play sessions require 50 sticks and 50 balls each year, totaling about $1,350 annually. Many kids join with no equipment at all. Your donation gives them their very first chance to play hockey.

Protective Gear for a Team
Safety comes first.
A full youth team of 8–10 players needs $1,150–$1,550 worth of helmets, shin guards, and gloves. Equipping one team protects every child and keeps the program accessible for families.

Goalie Equipment
Goalie gear is the most expensive part of the sport.
A complete youth goalie setup ranges from $1,000 to $1,350 per team. Fully funding goalie gear gives each team a safe and properly equipped player at the most important position on the rink.

Rink and Facility Rentals
Affordable space is essential for practices, camps, and league games.
Outdoor rentals range from $25–$75 per session. Indoor community centers and gyms cost $50–$100 per hour. Donation support helps us secure reliable facilities without raising registration fees.

Scholarships
We never want cost to be the reason a child can’t play.
Scholarships cover league fees for elementary, middle, and high school players. A full scholarship ranges from $50 to $85 depending on age group.

Program Operations
These items keep our programs organized and professional.
Reversible jerseys, coaching equipment, cones, volunteer materials, and signage cost $190–$280 per team each season. These basics keep practices structured and help kids feel part of a real team.

Spread the Word

Every share makes a difference. Help us grow Hockey Without Boundaries and give more kids the chance to pick up a stick, join a team, and discover the joy of the game. Tell your friends, family, schools, and local businesses about our mission to make hockey accessible for all—no ice required. The more people who know, the more kids we can reach. Post our link, tag us, and help build the movement.
