The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all participants are properly equipped for safety, that games are played with fairness and consistency, and that team identity is preserved across all Hockey Without Boundaries and OPEN RINK Pro Tour events.
This policy applies to all players, goalies, coaches, and team personnel involved in youth, scholastic, and adult programs.

Prohibited Equipment:

Helmet with full cage or mask
Chest and arm protector
Leg pads (floor hockey or ice hockey style)
Blocker and glove

Gloves and protective pants
Goalies may wear their own jerseys but must visibly identify their team by matching colors, a team pinny, or an armband provided by the league.
3. UNIFORM STANDARDS
Uniforms contribute to the identity, professionalism, and fairness of gameplay. All participants must adhere to the following:
League-Issued Jerseys: Players must wear official school jerseys or uniforms during all games. Reversible jerseys must be turned to the appropriate color based on team designation.
Alterations Prohibited: No player may modify their uniform (cut sleeves, add custom designs, obscure logos, etc.) without prior written approval.
Replacement Jerseys: If a jersey is lost or damaged, a replacement must be obtained before participating in the next game.
Uniforms must be clean and presentable, and tucked in when possible.
4. COACH & STAFF APPEARANCE
Coaches, assistant coaches, and team personnel must be easily identifiable and adhere to the following:
Wear league-issued apparel or an official team shirt that clearly distinguishes them from players and spectators.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance while representing their team.
Ensure that all players are properly equipped and dressed before every game or practice.
5. COMPLIANCE & ENFORCEMENT
Equipment and uniform checks may be conducted at any time by league officials or referees.
Any participant not in compliance may be prohibited from playing until the issue is corrected.
Repeated violations or refusal to follow equipment standards may result in suspension or removal from the program.
All teams, coaches, and families are responsible for ensuring proper gear is worn and maintained throughout the season.
